I am born in Veneto, on the Italian Alps.
After obtaining my BA in Communication and a MA in Semiotic Disciplines, I've been freelancing as an apparel and accessories designer for a fashion consultancy firm in Bologna, where I worked for brands such as OMP, Puma Mihara Yasuhiro, Le Coq Sportif, the Futurenet Group and Borbonese.
In 2009 I relocated to London where I gained my second MA in Fashion Design and Technology Menswear with distinction at London College of Fashion UAL.
My master collection was awarded as the best collection of the year by Harold Tillman, former chairman of the British Fashion Council.
Soon after, I started presenting my menswear and eyewear collections which have been shown at the OnStage Project organised by Vogue Italia and Milano Unica (2011), the Fashion East Menswear Installation at Somerset House (2011), London Collection: MEN (2012) and I've been selected by L'UOMO Vogue as a finalist of WHO'S ON NEXT? MENSWEAR at Pitti 86 Florence (2013).
Alongside designing my own label and my consultancy work, I've been awarded the prestigious ARTSCOM Progressive Bursary from the University of the Arts London. The grant allowed me to work on a practice-led research project about design and traditional craftsmanship. This research made me gain my PhD in 2016.
Since 2014 I've been teaching fashion design and technology at leading design universities in the UK.
